The Toth’s; Jeff, Sandra and their 7 year old son Sam, moved to the Residences this past summer. They needed a place to call home while their primary residence was being remodeled. Jeff called the sales office on a whim, just on the chance that The Residences offered rentals—and we were able to accommodate him and his family! Below is his family’s experience in his own words...
Did you look at other options, and what were some of the features that made you decide on leasing at The Residences?
Did we consider other living arrangements? Sure we did! But staying with my parents for six months would have for sure made a hit reality show! The Residences was an easy choice, the location and amenities offered sealed the deal.
Have you used our 24 hour Concierge service or any of the Hotel services?
Our family has utilized the Concierge on many occasions. The staff has absolutely embraced our family. Whether it be booking reservations at the Residences Hotel next door for visiting friends and family, or entertaining Sam, those who man the Concierge desk have been great.
Do you have any memorable experiences living here so far?
There have been many! Last October, I was making my signature dish, “chicken parm”, all was going to plan and them BAM! No, Emeril didn’t magically appear to finish the cooking, the fire alarm went off in our residence! Needless to say my wife was quite thrilled to have eight strapping members of the Providence Fire Department over for dinner. Also, our son Sam has, with confidence, mastered the doggy paddle in the pool. But perhaps the most magical memories that we will take with us, are the many games of “Eye Spy” we played from our residence on the 24th floor.
What would you like to share about yourself with prospective Residents?
We would like to share our enthusiasm about living at The Residences. For potential residents with young children—go for it! Be creative and embrace the energy that exists within and outside of these walls.
What do you like about living downtown?
Living downtown has been a wonderful experience for the entire family. We have come to appreciate a metropolitan lifestyle. We love the convenience of pedestrian travel to the mall, restaurants and some fantastic art venues.
What floor plan do you have an what do you like about it?
We chose the B1 floor plan; 2 beds, 2 baths. Our residence is beautiful. We have tour others but the layout and views to the north and east are truly majestic.
You came to The Residences under our Executive Lease Program. How did you like the furnishings provided, having weekly housekeeping and phone, cable and internet access bundled into your lease?
“Executive Lease” sounds pretty lavish… and it is! The furnishings are as aesthetically pleasing as they are functional. The lease program worked out well, we write one check and worry about nothing. Weekly housekeeping? You mean my wife has been getting credit for the sparkling bathrooms and floors?!
